Following a review by Delvin GAA Executive a decision has been made to postpone the renovation of our dressing rooms primarily as a result of escalating costs beyond what the club can afford and we will now investigate how to do the renovations in a more affordable way.
Having reviewed our development plan our Executive have decided to immediately move to phase 3 of the plan and to invest in a astro turf pitch and ball wall, something our players badly need. We are now in the planning phase with the expectation that a planning submission will be made by year end or in early 2022. An ambitious timeline has been set to complete the installation by the end of next year which will require some level of borrowing by the club and proceeds from our annual draw which takes place on December 4th will be used for this.
Once completed the astro pitch will be available to both our club members and the wider community and we would really appreciate all support for our annual draw to help make our astro turf project a success.
