Earlier this year, Shane was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer – Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He is currently receiving treatment through the Denis Burkitt Ward at St. James Hospital and is not taking the illness or the tough treatment lying down. A group of Shane’s friends and family have organised these events to raise funds for Shane as he continues his battle.
