It was a fantastic night for Ireland and an even better night for the Delvin Scout group as Beavers, Cubs and Scouts were there to witness Ireland’s advance to the play off’s after beating Armenia 2-1 at the Aviva stadium last Tuesday evening.

Reports from those involved were very positive as the group got to enjoy the nail-biting game live among the fantastic surroundings of the Aviva stadium.

School nights are always a problem for Scouts but I am glad to report that Delvin’s scouts are diligent and always make it to school the next day. Roll on the next outing!
