Purple Raven Gallery, Crowenstown

With views over rolling fields from every window and celebrating the best of local arts and crafts, Hazel Revington Cross welcomes you to the Purple Raven Art Gallery & Craft Centre.

As an artist herself, Hazel can often be found with paintbrush in hand and her gallery includes many of her own works, as well as pieces by other local artists. A hand picked selection of beautiful and unusual gifts can also be found, with decorative clocks, hand thrown pottery and wind chimes.

Holistic and Spiritual

The Purple Raven Gallery is continuously developing the holistic, spiritual and therapeutic side of the business believing that art and creativity is strongly linked to the wellbeing of the soul. They source a wide range of holistic items including healing crystals, singing bowls, oracle and angel cards, meditation music, smudge sticks, incense and spiritual books.

Reiki Healing can also be booked through the gallery. Full body Reiki healing is carried out in a separate therapy room but we also have a special therapy chair in the gallery where mini treatments can be carried out while you relax surrounded by our beautiful art.

Angel card readings are a regular feature and very enjoyable days, where our famous coffee pot is kept filled throughout the day for people to help themselves. Bookings to have a reading with a professional psychic medium can be made through the gallery.

Events & Workshops

Throughout the year there are special workshops run by professional artists and craft workers giving people the opportunity to learn a new skill. Some of the featured workshops include painting, mosaic art and one of our most popular being our basket weaving workshop.

The days are going so fast I am nearly dizzy but when I hear the voice of the yellow hammer and his 'Little bit of bread and no cheese!' I have to stop and follow the sound no matter what I am doing.
