NZEB Open Doors at Caddagh Cross

Passive House Midlands Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) will become the European standard for all new buildings by 2021. This Sunday, fifty NZEB houses will be opened to the public so that interested parties can learn more about the benefits of low energy houses from the people that design and / or live in them.

Local architect, Barry Williams, will be showing people around his own Passive House, currently under construction at Caddagh Cross between 2 & 4pm on Sunday 15th November.

Once completed, this property will be “A2” rated with features including mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and a rainwater harvesting system. This is a “must see” for anyone considering building or redeveloping their own home.
