With Christmas approaching, Hazel Revington of The Purple Raven Art Gallery, in partnership with artists, customers and friends, are working to help The Midlands Simon Community prepare for the winter.
The Midlands Simon Community works with homeless individuals and offers support to those who are considered at risk of becoming homeless. Right now, simple things such as hygiene packs (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, facecloth, towel etc) are in short supply and desperately needed.
There will be a collection point in the Crowenstown Gallery from Thursday 9th October and donations of these simple items are encouraged.
The gallery is also putting together a beautiful hamper filled with gifts & lovely handmade items donated by many of their artists which will be raffled off to raise funds. In addition, there will be a coffee morning on Saturday 8th of November in aid of the Midlands branch.
Medium, Siobhan Brady will also be offering mini-card readings on Saturday 15th in exchange for a €5 donation to the appeal.
All the small gestures add up and can make a huge difference, so please support!
