The organisers of the annual Body & Soul Festival have joined forces with the pupils of St Patrick’s National School, Crowenstown to plant 110 new trees at Ballinlough Castle.

In partnership with One Million Trees in One Day and Grown, 110 trees including Irish oak, birch, pine, blackthorn, beech, hazel and ash were planted in the magnificent woodlands on the castle estate on Earth Day – Wednesday 22nd April.

This action was part of the festival organiser’s sustainability objective of giving something back to the land that hosts the award winning festival each June.
