In the 1970s & 1980s, The Beehive Lodge near Reynella was the place to be and be seen!
People from all over the midlands (and even further afield) would attend discos and parties, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Joe Dolan.
Sadly, the venue closed many years ago and the venue has been repurposed several times with very little (if any) evidence remaining of its hey day. It is however remembered with great affection by many, many people and therefore deserves a mention on these pages.
