on Sunday 15th August from 11:00 at St. John´s Church, Clonmellon, Clonmellon, Westmeath
Clonmellon Community Council in association with Clonmellon Farmers Market and Killua Castle will present an art exhibition and sale featuring ten artists from Meath & Westmeath, at St. John’s Church on Sunday 15th August from 11 am – 1.30 pm.
St. John’s Church was built around 1790 and was used by the Church of Ireland for the next 200 years. Eventually, in the early 1990’s, it was deconsecrated and eventually became a ruin. It sits at the end of a lovely tree-lined avenue at the centre of the village of Clonmellon and is surrounded by a graveyard and garden.
The building has been fully restored and is now a space to display works of art and hold community based events.
