Next time you are passing through the village, be sure to stop and take a good look at the newly installed art work on the wall beside Michael Leonard’s Shop.

Michael asked his friend, Mullingar based artist Theresa Gilligan, to put together a special piece which could be freely enjoyed by locals and visitors. Michael hopes that tourists will take out their cameras and that these iconic images will be shared with friends and families all over the world.

The piece depicts key scenes from the area, including the Church of the Assumption, Delvin Castle, Clonyn Castle, Smiling Bess and the Stoneyford River.
