Following on from last year's event at Delvin Cattle Mart, organisers of the Delvin St Patrick's Festival are going even bigger for 2023! This year it will take place on the day itself - Friday 17th of March - from 2 - 6 pm, with an afternoon of live entertainment planned. The stretch of road between Delvin Church and the cattle mart will be pedestrianised for the occasion.
The theme of this year's festival is “Green”, with a focus on keeping the community environmentally well. Each addition to the festival will carry the green ethos on the day.
As usual, admission to the event is FREE! However, the event does cost money to run so your support on the day is encouraged. In addition, a raffle is being organised to help cover costs and some wonderful prizes are up for grabs.
First Prize
€1000 towards your electricity bill
(sponsored by Bracklyn Wind Farms)
Second Prize
€500 Voucher for Farnham Estate Golf Club
Third Prize
Dinner for 4 at the 12 Points Restaurant, Clonmellon
(sponsored by Allen and Lorena Krausse)
Tickets cost €5 each and can be purchased on iDonate or from any committee member.
The draw will take place at Gaffney's Bar on Saturday 22nd April.
