In the last couple of weeks, the 3rd Westmeath Delvin Scout Group took delivery of new kayaks.

The funding for the kayaks was gratefully received via a grant through the IPB Insurance Youth and Community Fund and it is hoped that the group will provide training in water safety and basic kayaking skills over the next few months.

The kayaks will in the future prove a great asset to the group and indeed it is hoped that we will be able to expand our activities in the future.
