On Friday the 3rd of June, Delvin Beaver Scouts had their first camp. Twenty-four Beavers and leaders set up camp at Ogles near Delvin.
We were blessed with the weather as that Friday proved to be one of the hotests days so far this year.
The camp was a huge success and included woodland walks, an obstacle course, camp fire, marshmallow roasting and a strange sort of banoffee pie. This was followed with a night walk near the forest after which all were glad to retire to their tents for well deserved nights slumber.
