Please come along to the Courtyard at 7pm on Saturday 7th December, when local children will warm up the crowd with Christmas songs and carols as they await the arrival of Santa – flying in especially to turn on the Christmas Lights!
Delvin Christmas Lights Committee have been working very hard to make sure that our countdown to Christmas is celebrated in style. Although there will be no lights along the buildings on the main street this year, a smaller but equally festive display, including a traditional crib, will greet visitors this festive season.
Cards for the annual Christmas raffle are now on sale in all local businesses with lines costing €2. Please support this draw and give generously on the night as the funds will help to replace the broken lights and ensure our village is fully lit up next year!
This promises to be a great local occasion and your support will be appreciated. Don’t forget too that the draw will take place on Saturday 21st December at O’Shaughnessy’s Bar.
