Inspiration Taekwon-Do had a spectacular weekend. The weekend started with the Taekwon Kids Competition from the ages 3-5 and 6-8 and the competition was fierce. Well done to all who took part.

Then it was the turn of the family class who had their grading with Senior Instructor Mr Wayne Delea. Mr Delea started the grading with a class and had the students going through drills with focus pads and air shields. Mr Delea then went on to self defence with Mr Connolly as his partner. The students got great amusement in Mr Connolly flying through the air after demonstrating different locks and holds!

The serious part of the grading started with Mr Delea calling all the students up in groups of four. When the grading was over, the Inspiration Taekwon-Do 100% pass rate still stood. Congratulations to all students who took part over the weekend.

I would like to thank all my students who studied and prepared for the grading and competition, their families who brought them to the event and who supported them. I would like to thank the following people personally: The Reddington family Clonmellon – Mammy and the girls, the McKenna family for all your hard work, the Finucane family and Niall Finnegan for all your help with the kids competition, and Cole and Broidys mammy for supplying the chocolates for the kids competition. My Elder lemons who are always there to help out, Mr Mahon, Miss Mahon and Aoife – thanks again. I would also like to Thank Mr Wayne Delea who supports our schools so much and is always there to answer any questions I have.

Last but no means least I would Like to thank my wife Caroline who supports me all the way and without who’s help none of this would be possible.
