The Delvin Sports and Leisure Centre committee is calling out to local people to help them bring the field at Ballyhealy to life!
So much has been achieved over the course of the last few years – and this has been no easy task given the economic climate. Behind the scenes, a huge amount of work continues to secure funding, maintain the grounds and complete the mountain of paperwork involved.
The small number of people involved have been tied up with menial but necessary and time consuming tasks while the centre itself has remained a pile of bricks. They are exhausted and are appealing for your help!
Let’s Make It Happen!
There is NO reason at all why Delvin should not have this facility – the village needs and deserves it.
- Can you spare an hour or two a week to help with site maintenance?
- Could you spare some time to help out with administration?
- Do you have ideas for related projects or fund raisers?
- Would you be willing and able to lend a hand?
If you can answer “YES!” to even one of these questions, then the DSLC would love to meet you on Wednesday 20th November at 8.30pm in St Patrick’s Hall!
Many hands make light work, so if you would like to play a part in getting the centre fully up and running, now is the time to step forward.
ALL ideas, ALL contributions and ALL feedback welcome.
