Body & Soul was Ireland’s intimate midsummer music-and-arts festival, born from the Body & Soul arena at Electric Picnic and launched as its own event at Ballinlough Castle in 2010 by founder and creative director Avril Stanley.
Known for its woodland art installations, eclectic and alternative line-ups, wellness and ritual spaces, and a strong community and environmental ethos, it stood apart from the typical festival scene.
In 2025, it was announced that the festival had come to an end. One final event, A.Wake, would take place in August at an undisclosed location and the event was sold out before the gates opened.
