On Friday 25th of January, fourteen Beavers and one Leader went through the traditional Scout investiture to become fully fledged members of Scouting Ireland.

The investiture was attended by Group Leader, Bertha McBride and the proud parents of the children. This is always an important time in scouting as the children have reached a milestone and – as fully fledged scouts – can now plan their journey from Beavers right through to Rovers or indeed to a time when they become Leaders in the organisation.

The 3rd Westmeath Delvin Scout Group want to extend a very warm welcome to our newly invested scouts.
