Last Saturday night was a busy one with a sold out performance at St Patrick’s Hall and an early Christmas themed event at the gallery in Crowenstown.
The Man In The Woman’s Shoes told the hilarious and touching story of Pat and the characters he met during a five mile walk from his cottage to town and back again. A clever and much enjoyed tale, written and performed by Mikel Murfi. It is hoped that Mikel will return to Delvin in 2018 – watch this space!
Meanwhile, the Purple Raven Gallery in Crowenstown was jammed to the rafters for Hazel’s annual Mulled Wine evening. Aside from the free flowing mulled wine, guests were treated to live music and a visit by two prickly friends – Leon and Ophelia – from Hedgehog Rescue Dublin. A great night was had by all!
