The Delvin Village Website was launched on Friday 4th September 2009. The idea was to create a comprehensive and positive guide to the village, its services and amenities - one which reflected honestly, the diverse range of people and interests that make Delvin a unique place to live, visit and do business.Ten years on, and the site is now a trusted guide which appeals to locals and visitors alike. The site is supported by a busy Facebook Page as well as accounts on Twitter, Instagram and Youtube. The Delvin Village Website is an independent and self financing project, owned and managed by Stuart O'Sullivan. It is not a full time occupation and it is not affiliated to any local authority or tourist services.AdvertisingThe website is updated on a voluntary basis, but the cost of running and promoting it are met through advertising revenue. Business owners in Delvin and the surrounding areas can advertise their work and their events on the website for just €50 per year (€75 in the first year). To register your business - or make a donation - please click here.PhotographyLocal photographers are welcome to submit their photos of Delvin - events and locations - for inclusion on the website. No payment is offered but any work used will be credited. To submit your photos, please email them to content@delvinvillage.com. Please note that photographs must not be watermarked or carry any logos. Family TracingI regret that I am unable to assist with family tracing / genealogy enquiries. You may however make an enquiry via the Delvin Westmeath Facebook Page and I will add a post on your behalf inviting page users to contribute.
