Delvin Community Alert – 2nd December **New Date**

Delvin’s new “Community Alert” scheme will now be officially launched at an open meeting to be held on Wednesday 2nd December. The date has been changed because the missions are visiting Delvin on the original date given.

The scheme is designed to encourage locals to take a greater interest in what is happening around them, and to report any matters that concern them, in confidence, to their local Garda.

A similar scheme is already in operation in nearby Killucan and it is hoped that Delvin will also embrace the new scheme.

The informal meeting will be chaired by a Garda representative and all are welcome to attend. It will start at 8pm.
