Want To Know More About Our Local Landmarks?

The Delvin Historical Society will host their first presentation of the new season on Sunday 13th November at 3pm in St Patrick’s Hall.

Michael Murphy, Patrick Lynch and Paul Hughes will deliver short talks on some of our local landmarks, including Delvin Castle, Ballinlough Castle and Clonyn Castle, the Motte, Rosmead House, St Mary’s Church and the Church of the Assumption. The life and work of local politician Laurence Ginnell (1852 – 1923) will also be among the topics for discussion.

Admission will be €3 per person and light refreshments will be available.
